Risk Management Technologies (RMT) is a Packaged Software developer established to provide new online models of managing risk and performance in today’s organisations.

After developing a state of the art integrated chemical safety management system called Chem Alert RMT broadened their vision to cover all categories of business risk and performance with a highly evolved enterprise-wide solution called First Priority Enterprise. Today they work with more than 600 businesses across 2500 global sites and continue in their quest to design new business systems and cultures that deliver real value and results.

The Project

RMT where looking at converting their traditional desktop based applications to online applications using Adobe Flex. Reignite was asked to mentor the existing Java development team through this technology transformation and to help redesign parts of the interface of the First Priority application to improve the user experience.

The Approach

Reignite has embedded within RMT’s own development team a Senior Java and Flex Consultant who has put in place the architecture required for Flex development with Java. Reignite then developed a number of custom interface components to be used by Flex Developers at RMT on First Priority and finally our developers were then required to help RMT’s developers deliver a number of new features for First Priority.
